Cliff Peterson practiced for many years with major law firms in New York and Philadelphia, litigating complex commercial cases in state and federal trial and appellate courts.
In 2001 he joined the Vermont Department of Banking, Insurance, Securities and Health Care Administration as its number two lawyer and led the investigation into Vermont’s largest financial scandal. He then joined the Attorney General’s office where he defended state agencies, statutes and regulations.
As Counsel to Kimbell Storrow he has represented, among others, health care organizations, insurance and securities firms, real estate developers, and cell tower owners.
Peterson is a native of Chicago with a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and a Ph.D. from the University of Washington. He has been a Fulbright Fellow at Oxford University.
